Stay hopeful, for the prophets in your life the ones with pure hearts, genuine intentions and a strong sense of sincere surrender, perhaps one lives next door. Divine callings happen to the humble herdsman, fishermen, and those who pick fruit from trees of the sycomore fruit in the Old Testament.
1 Thessalonians 4: 16 – 18
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with a voice of the archangel and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
The odds of improbability are a high-stake gamble. Often called a sucker’s bet to prepare and plan for the Kingdom of dusk to store and save the oil lamps, the propane tanks and the kerosene. Yet, I am compelled to buy, store and pack for the approaching. If the end time message is false, then the Kingdom of dusk will never dawn. My next-door neighbor, the Senour writes down his thought for the Light of the World on Sundays Two golden lions sit at the churches from door like a foo fu dogs in Chinese architecture made of stone and gilded in Gold. Present in a pair of two. More like a chow chow known for their lion like appearance and protective nature to the throne. The chow chow dog is square in profile and aloof like a cat, obliviously quiet. Spiritually discerning with those who pass through the gate of door. I cannot rectify why the doors are boarded up.
1 Corinthians 2: 11-14
For what man knoweth the thins of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him. That we might know the things that are feely given to use of God.

(Noun) meaning Utter nonsense
The Senour begins the day with scripture in preparation for the weekly message. Drawing a picture with words as a grand illusion of the Dusk Kingdom. With rigor his message lingers as parishioners gather their groceries for the week ahead, but very few think or prepare for the days describe by the Next Door Prophet. Senour describes the rapture coming before year’s end. He congregation is eclipse with the haunting possibility of the rapture as described in scripture. Using a cataclysmic analogy of Noah’s flood to move the discussion forward to those that are spiritualized while putting supper on the table each day.
To endure tribulation is not usually on most individuals’ minds.
1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by Lord Jesus Christ.
Oblivious to the realities of judgement day. Senour describes the end times as a line or que of people who await judgement. A protocol of bureaucracy like a ledger or book with someone who search the pages on a pedestal much taller than the presenter. All to answer the question of belonging to a sacred sense of grouping.
Most women would just craft the messing bun and get on with clearing the kitchen in order to make a mess again by cooking. Pen and ink make people think. Is your soul at rest, come rapture day, have you surrendered to our intercessor our savior, redeemer and King.
Once past the validation, that we are all sinners and ready for a hand and foot washing to immerse ourselves in fellowship, community and sanctification.
Forsake the world admonish the need for things, adornments and attachments. The internal conflict of preparations for tomorrow seems obtuse not a plumb line of thinking, and certainly not linear to day to day living. The Decision process is probably the same, if free from obligation, then thoughts and ideas flow off the pen.
Senour had a deep core belief, while no one can see the divine call it was revealed to him through hearing about their vision, the strength of their will and the resilience to ignite what they want activated. A clarity of vision allows for the power to ignore distractions. Coupled with a relentless perveance and consistent discipline and routine.
” I will do whatever it takes for as long as it takes.” The brick walls are there for a reason. Belief is the catalyst that empowers you to perform at your highest level. Senour knew this…
That doubt distraction and negative thinking held his attention. Even under pressure, you sink or rise in your level of preparation. Senour was keenly aware that small decisions progressively conglomerate. He chose to sit on the porch often, as do I so I saw him often out of the corner of my eye. Collectively we hear the bird song during the daylight and the chirp of frogs hollow as dusk. Both of us sit and rest, a retreat into the blue sky of tranquility often with the moon in the backdrop. On this particular day, I had placed the Corinthian bells on the porch, and I am sure that the tone of G drew him out of his writing room. The Corinthian windchimes are made om West Virgina and the cylinders are powered coated to precise frequencies. In this case the G note as I previously said. Like the tuning fork matched to the bodies nervous system of relief, similar to bird song that is indicative of no predators lurking around a true forest sound.
All with the same goal tuning into 432 Hz and 528 Hz. The highest note is presumed to have the most impact biologically. Creating a sensitivity to be more receptive and open to fresh thought or perhaps in Senour’s situation a divine calling to be a prophet to the Light of the World. Senour will just sit with nothing in his hand, no everyday tasks of keeping the home, or preparing the daily meals. He must write and prepare the message for Sunday. For the Light of the World listens to his message. He preaches from the pulpit with fervor about living, breathing and listening to the Gospel message. Learning from the lessons of the parables.
One of the parables is on preparedness.
Matthew 24:44
Therefore, you must be ready for the son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
Matthew 24:13
But the one who endures to the end will be saved
Luke 21: 13-14
This will be your opportunity to bear witness. Sette it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer.
Luke 21:28
Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads because redemption is drawing near.
The Senour often was seen straight up in the chair looking into the vast unknown. I can only imagine that he is thinking about the translation of the scripture so that his echo and reverberate to the congregation. His church members constructed a room for him to write a space dedicated to only one function. To construct the words, one by one, but I think he prefers the porch. Delicate indeed to make the people feel connect to the mercy from the savior in 2 hours or less only once a week.
The congregation ensures that there are no distractions for the Senour. All his meals are prepared to his preference, he never has a chore list or household repair list to be complete. He has a singular focus to interpret the word of God for today’s complex and complicated environment.
Today he zeros in on the scripture that no one can predict but there will be signs. Senour often wears a suit jacket but, on this day, when the rain came down in the sheets, he had slung it over his arms letting the white collared shirt get drench in the rainstorm. Seeing this his father covered his head with an umbrella and toweled off the Senours perfectly coiffed hair. The chauffeur stood at attention ready to serve at a moment notice. Each word the Senour was carefully listened to and then completed to that Senour could focus. Walking slowly as if entrance by the message of the Gospel could be presented differently or uniquely for Sunday sermon was at the forefront of his mind.
Senorita attends to the children often shewing them way from his office while he worked undisturbed moments to formulate his next message. He would often request the children to remind him of the passage of time. The meekness of a child as they tried to catch his eye of attention. When distraught and bewildered he caught solace in the children they recover so quickly from confusion. It was that joy that kept him on task and able to present.
Groups of workers would spend their weekends on the Senour’s home building their investment on behalf of the Light of the World. Through the wind and the rain, they worked while the women prepared their evening meal. a table of 12 was set under the tree to seat them during the meal. Not once did the Senour come outside to eat with them, choosing to dine inside at the head of the table. The great maple tree sheltered the parishioners from the sun and the rain as if God stretched out his hands while they ate and had fellowship.
It was on this rainy Senour had a problem that was interrupting his writing and crafting the Sunday sermon, as water seeped into the basement. No amount of mopping stopped the water from puddling on the flooring. He was deluged with intrusive thought and perplexed by the problem. The workers shored up the front wall by taking away the trim and removing the insulation to inspect where the water was making its way into the house knowing that time was of the essence.
Senior has to life and cut through a canyon of thoughts, some more dominant than others, but the leaky basement was interrupting his direction. He was used to undisrupted though that lead to more purposeful messaging to preach on Sunday’s, so a Deacon was assigned to outreach shut in parishioners, a crew to take care of the leaky basement.
He found no joy in entertaining, while he understood the need to gather socially to nourish his flock’s soul. Senour was focused on the word and its dissemination.
He was organized when it came to his work of preaching the Sunday message just like a cook who take fewer chance and never serves a new dish at holiday or occasion. Senour cross referenced his message to the Light of the World, believing in each apostle’s perspective to get the larger viewpoint. Balancing the message with the Old Testament prophets like Isaih and Amos to reach in the old language. He grasped concepts of the veil being torn between what was the old way so the new message of the Gospel could be received.
Sometimes the word would not come easily so he drew a correlation to his experiences to find peace. Senour often compared his thought as waiting for a flight, the consistent clamor of the loudspeaker and the overhead chatter of directions for outgoing flights. His home, his journey was determined by the congregation. The home was not his, it would never appear on his asset list and the space he resided was always temporary. Two-year contract was all he could anticipate, before the next town’s calling. He was used to moving and uprooting himself and his family.
knowing the transition in life, it was difficult to connect. His nature was to engage completely when present and then compartmentalize that experience while ceasing on the next set of terms to negotiate. A Publican in bible times like the apostle Michael.
Titus 1:10 …
For there are many insubordinates, both idle talkers and deceivers…
Therefore, rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.
Paul was a prophet also known as Saul a gluttonous liar. takes a twist on the people of Titus. The end of the world is neigh said Senour, before this year is through with flyers left in my lawn and one delivered by my neighbor Sandra.
Amos was an Old Testament prophet his name means the bearer or burden.
“But lord I am just… I hear the brother say at the Tabernacle. a simple herdsman until God had him pick up a pen to draft, write and proclaim 4 visions were sent to his head. A promis of an abundant future blessing not just water, but wine. Instead of bare ground there will be a beautiful garden, not simply survival but endless flourishing. Amos abided and completed his task. He understood the assignment. His call to prophecy was a direct ac of divine selection.
Senour believes that he was selected by the divine hand.
Amos 7: 8
And the Lord said unto me Amos what seeest thou? And then as said to the Lord Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people. I will not again pass by them. I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son. but I was a herdsman and a gatherer of sycamore fruit. Amos describes his anointing to prophesy. And the Lord took me as I followed the flock, and the Lord said unto me
Go prophecy unto my people Israel.
Amos 8:9
And it shall come to pass in that day saith the Lord God that I will cause the sun to go down a moon and I will darken the earth on the clear day.
Amos 8: 11
Not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water but a hearing of the word of the Lord
Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he reveals his secret unto his servants’ prophets.
Senour came from Kirby Texas and was a long way from home, it was fated to be that way when two years ago Monsieur was stricken with kidney failure, the leadership switched the congregation to accommodate him. Money can’t buy love he would say so to can a parishioner buy their way to heaven as he gave Senour keys to the casa.
In a relationship that Senour and his parishioners have a sincere respect for the position of leader in the congregations. Amos did not hold a title he was just…
A relationship is agreeing on a common understanding a mutually agreed upon social decorum that is built over time.
Senours leadership in the Light of the World is precedented to be a temporary assignment, time is relative to trust and respect.
A Divine selection do not consider timing or title to spread the message of grace. A relationship is built on the understanding of comfort, inspiration and consistency. Senour offered there ideals enigmatically, upon the pulpit.
Matthew 11:41
He that received a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward and he that received a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
Those pamphlets that were strewn about the lawn. Three simple action steps to believe in your heart that Jesus is Good, and he came and shed his perfect blood for on that wooden cross so that you may gain eternal life. You will be saved from here forth.
A prophet living next door?
2 Chronicles 20:20
Believer in the Lord your God so shall ye be established believe in his prophets so shall ye prosper.
Matthew 7:15
Watch out for the false prophets they come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Prophets are God’s spokespersons communicating God’s will to the people. Amos was a prophet.
Amos 3:7
For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets
